Getting started

Your first call sheet

Three ways to start a project, and what fills in automatically.

Click + New on the dashboard and pick a starting point. There are three, and they all land in the same builder.

  • Import: drop in a call sheet you already have (PDF, photo, or CSV). AllSheets reads it, rebuilds it as a live sheet, and staples the original on as an attachment. You can also just drag a file anywhere onto the dashboard.
  • Describe your shoot: type what you are shooting in plain English and the AI drafts the day, schedule and all. You refine from there.
  • From scratch: name, client, date, empty sheet.

What fills in by itself

Add a location and AllSheets geocodes it, pulls the weather forecast for your shoot date (with sunrise and sunset), and finds the nearest hospital. Dates more than about 16 days out get a seasonal outlook instead of a forecast, and the real forecast replaces it as the date approaches. Every enriched detail stays editable.

Saving

The builder autosaves as you work. The circled X in the header doubles as the save indicator: an amber ring while saving, a green pulse when it lands, red if a save is retrying. If you leave while a save is still in flight, AllSheets finishes it before letting the page go.

Tip: Company trials include a demo project generator in the + New menu. It builds a full fake shoot you can experiment on without risking a real one.
