Contacts & your team

The contact book, linked accounts, seats, and the crew network.

Settings > People & Permissions holds two different things, deliberately separated: your Company (people with logins and account access) and your Contacts (your production phone book, no logins).

Company: seats

  • Admins run the org: billing, settings, members. Producers build and send. Both use a paid seat; 4 are included, more are $10/month each.
  • Invite by email. Invites that bounce show a red badge with a one-click resend.
  • Only you can remove your own admin role, and the last active admin can never be removed. Granting admin asks for confirmation, since admins control the whole company.

Contacts: the phone book

Everyone you put on call sheets. Contacts are saved automatically from sheets you build, or add them directly, or import a whole list: vCard, CSV, spreadsheet, even a crew list PDF or photo. Each contact carries a default role, so adding your gaffer to a new sheet takes two keystrokes. Editing a contact's profile updates every sheet they appear on.

Linked accounts and the network

When a contact's email matches a real AllSheets account, their row shows a small badge and their photo comes from their own profile. They control their own name, email, and photo; you keep controlling their role in your book. Freelancers can also list themselves in the AllSheets crew network (off by default, coarse region only, email never shown); Company accounts can search it by role and distance to find crew.

Common questions

I invited a teammate. Why are they not in Contacts?
Team and Contacts are separate stores. Invites create a login seat; contacts are people on your call sheets. A teammate appears in Contacts only once they are on a sheet or added directly.
Can another workspace see my contacts?
No. Contact books are fully separate per workspace.
