Questions & answers
- Do recipients need an account or an app?
- No. Every recipient gets a personal live link that opens in any browser. Accounts are only for people who build sheets.
- What happens when I edit a sheet after sending it?
- The live link updates instantly and silently. Nobody is emailed or texted unless you send an update. If a confirmed person's call time changed, their row turns amber until you notify them, and the update asks them to re-confirm.
- Can I send a plain PDF instead of a live link?
- You can always export a PDF from the Preview overlay and send it however you like. The built-in send flow always delivers live links, because a stale call sheet is how people miss call times.
- Why does my PDF have an AllSheets watermark?
- Free Crew accounts, and Company accounts without an active subscription or trial, export with the watermark. A paid Company subscription removes it. (The separate custom watermark controls are available on any plan.)
- Can crew accounts send call sheets?
- No. Sending is the Company plan's job. Crew accounts import, refine, and keep sheets, free forever.
- How do I resend to just one person?
- The paper plane on their row. It sends only their link, and doubles as a reminder or an updated-time notice depending on their state.
- How do I move a whole shoot day to another date?
- Change the date in the builder's summary bar, or drag the project's tile to a new date in the dashboard calendar view. Weather refreshes the next time you open the project.
- Someone deleted the email. Do I have to resend?
- Resend any time from their paper plane; their link stays the same. Recipients with the link bookmarked always have the current sheet.
- What file types can I import?
- PDFs, photos and scans, and CSV or plain-text files. Contact lists additionally import from vCard, CSV, XLSX, and even a photographed crew list.
- Where did my deleted project go?
- Settings > Deleted projects. It sits there for 90 days and can be restored until then.
- Does the weather update on its own?
- Yes. Far-out dates show a seasonal outlook, and the real forecast takes over as the day gets close. Changing the date or primary location refreshes it.
- Can clients see the crew's phone numbers?
- Client and agency recipients see the sheet without crew contact info you have hidden, and their own contact info is never shown to anyone but admins and producers.
- Is my data shared between my workspaces?
- No. Projects, contacts, and settings are isolated per workspace. The All Projects view only aggregates what your own memberships can already see.
- How do I get help from a person?
- Email support@getallsheets.com. The Settings > Support section has a contact form that reaches the same queue.
