Importing call sheets

Drag and drop, email forwarding, and Gmail auto-import.

Any call sheet you receive can become a live AllSheets project. Three ways in:

  • Drag and drop: drop the PDF, photo, or CSV anywhere on the dashboard (or use + New > Import). AllSheets reads it, including scanned and photographed sheets, and opens the rebuilt day in the builder.
  • Email forwarding: forward the call sheet email to forward@getallsheets.com from the address on your AllSheets account. The project appears in your workspace and you get a confirmation email.
  • Gmail auto-import: connect Gmail in Settings and AllSheets watches for call sheet attachments and imports them automatically.

What imports bring along

  • The original document is stapled to the day as an attachment named Original Call Sheet, byte for byte.
  • Schedule strips keep their printed order. Strips with no time import as Untimed instead of inventing times.
  • People land in the right groups with phones and emails when the source has them.
  • Gmail auto-import skips attachments it has already imported, and a forward matching a project you archived is flagged in the confirmation email so you can restore instead of duplicating.
Heads up: Sending an imported sheet shows a confirmation first: it may be another production's document, so make it yours before it goes out under your name. Crew accounts can import 30 sheets per month.
