Make an imported call sheet yours

Every call sheet you're sent can live in AllSheets, whatever it was born as: a PDF, a photo of a printout, a spreadsheet. Drop it anywhere on your project list and it opens in the builder as a full project (days, schedule, people, locations), parsed and laid out for you.

What happens on import

• The document is read (scanned or flattened PDFs go through vision OCR) and becomes a structured project you can edit.
• The original file is stapled to the first shoot day as an “Original Call Sheet” attachment, so you can always check against the source.
• Weather, sunrise/sunset, and the nearest hospital fill in automatically once the location resolves.

Refining the parse

Imports are good, not psychic. Skim the schedule against the original (it's right there in Attachments), fix any name or time the source document made ambiguous, and set people's positions so your contact book learns who does what. The AI assistant at the bottom of the builder handles bulk fixes well: “push everything after lunch back 30 minutes” beats retyping.

Make it useful to future-you

Attach anything you want to keep with the day: maps, sides, gear lists, a photo of the parking entrance. Everything is searchable later from the magnifier in the header: projects, people, and files across every sheet you've ever imported. Three gigs from now, “what was that gaffer's name from the museum shoot?” is a two-second search instead of an inbox archaeology dig.

Forward or auto-import

You don't even need the drag-and-drop: forward any call-sheet email to forward@getallsheets.com and it becomes a project on its own, or connect Gmail in Settings and incoming call sheets import themselves.
